It's either too late, or too early

It's now a bit past 5 am as I write this. A time at wich most people are sleeping (unless they work the night shift that is, and I don't) Anyway I went to bed at a reasonable time, for me (00.30)
but I woke up with some dialogue for the fanfic I'm now writing.
I guess reading all the fanfic has managed to mush my brain to the point that I now actually feel like writing it too. It's nowhere near ready for posting though. I'm not even shure where the story is going yet, exept that it will have a lot of McKay in it and whump.
After I wrote down that bit of the story (on a piece of paper I keep near my bed for such occasions) I probably should have gone back to sleep again, but I decided instead to get out of bed and turn on my computer (big mistake).
I had originaly asked for the weekend of to go to Collectormania10, but I decided not to go.
Instead I will go to a free showing of a new Dutch horror movie (showing at 11 am) and afterwards go to a comic book fair (friends of mine are vollunteering there and I will be too on sunday) I will see if I can get some of the comic artist to draw a picture of BorgTeddy in my scetchbook. My friends that stayed over last time are staying over again, but this time I think I'm putting them in the living room so that I can keep the use of the computer.
*looks at time* I guess I should try and get some sleep, since I do have stuff to do before leaving tomorrow morning and I don't think the neighbours that live under me (I live in a flat) will appreciate me hoovering at this time of the night/morning ;)

M&MM day :)

Today is good day for me and also for Hewlett fans.
David and Kate updated their blogs,
David has a website now :)
And today is the day for McKay and Mrs Miller.

And it was also the last day of my 8 day workweek :)
Its weekend and I don't have to work.

Life is good :D

Fanfiction Anonymous?

Fanfiction.net is working again :) But waiting for it to start working and refreshing every 10 seconds got me thinking. Is there such a thing as Fanfiction Anonymous.
I could probably something like that, although I'd be too busy reading fanfic to be able to go to a meeting (even an online one ) ;)

Things at work were ok today (even if I did have to do a stupid program)
Unfortunately not all sucky programs get cancelled, some just keep on going season after season :(
But we did all get a bag (red,blue,green or yellow) and one of my collegues didn't want his, so I got it and now I have a red and yellow one.

Only 2 more days to go till the weekend and untill they finaly air McKay and Mrs Miller. That is going to be a great episode,wich I'm really looking forward to. :)

That's it again. A friend of mine asked me on msn when I slept and I told her I didn't sleep nearly enough. And she said: McKay-like?
Which made me smile, because I hadn't thought about it like that before.

But speaking of sleep, I should probably try to getsome since it's getting late and I have a dayshift tomorrow. :S

A little rant about work and FF

The following is a little rant about work and FF, so if you don't like rants, dont read it,
not that anyone does, but still, you've been warned.

The new tv-season started again yesterday. So after the relative calm of summer things got really busy. The talkshows that were away during the summer (yay) are back now. A lot of programms changed chanel (this isnt that much of a problem) but some changed times (wich is) For some reason TPTB think its a good idea to put all the live programs between 17.30 and 20.30. Wich wouldnt be such a problem if because of budgetcuts we have to do more work with less people.
Wich a schedule like this I doubt I'll see the company restaurant any time soon. I suppose we could eat at 16.45, but that is way too early and the restaurant isn't open then. After 20.30 it's allready closed. There is a 25 minute gap at 19.00 but that's not really enough time to walk there, eat and get back in time for the next program.
So its a microwave meal at 19.00, wich I did yesterday, but that doesn't leave time to do any preperations for the next 2 programs, wich sucks :( So I'll probably end up eating and making codes at the same time. Lets just see how things go today (day 5 of my 8 day workweek)

That was the work rant, now on to FF.
I knew FF.net would be down yesterday morning, so I used the time to clean the kitchen.
Things would be back to normal in the afternoon. And they were for a while.
I got a message about an update in a story that I'm reading. I went to FF and they were down again. I kep checking, but nothing untill very late last night. I could finaly read the chapters posted and went to bed thinking they'd fixed the problem.
This morning everything was fine,but now they seemed to have crashed again.
I wonder why this always seems to happen while i'm in the middle of a very good story :(

Rant over. I'm not sure anybody has read this (probably not) but it definately made me feel better writing it :)
Anyway,It's time to get make some lunch. :)

Colorsharps :)

A friend of mine from work came back from vacation
in the US and she brought me back some Colorsharps :)
(they are great pens for getting things signed)
and 2 paint sharpies also.

FF is back online again :)
but they will be offline for a few hour tomorrow.
I'll be at work then, and they should be online again when I get home.

Someone else at work is sick, so I'm working extra on tuesday.
I'm gonna be glad when it's next weekend, because working on tuesday
means working 8 days in a row.

But after that it's weekend. Friends are coming over on saturday
and on sunday it's fanclub day in Amersfoort.

I'm gonna watch American History X on tv now.
