And now a little update
It's been a while since I've posted here, so it's time for an update of things.
At home:
Not much has happened. I tidied up my appartment a bit. My mom and cousin came to visit yesterday. We went shopping and I bought some new shoes (silver).I found my Dan Payne calender, but unfortunately it was left on top of my mini-oven.I didn't see it was there (untill I found it that is) but it was allready too late.All the pages have 'melted' together *cries*
At work:
We was working on the 6 o clock news (and the news program that follows it) when the file was emptied (we're not sure yet if it was someone from IT or the News that did it, but no matter who did it, it sucked lots) Fortunately I could restore the items and we didn't have to do everything live. (go me :) )A collegue (who I was looking forward to working with) fell on her hand and needed stitches. She couldn't come in to work because of it and since she's going on a vacation to Berlin next week I won't see her for 2 weeks. :(
Sport:
PSV just became Dutch Champion Football. It should have been AZ. All they had to do was beat Excelsior and they couldn't manage that. And Ajax didn't score enough goals in their match agains Willem-II. PSV beat Vitesse 5-1 and that makes them the new champions :(
Conventions: Last weekend was the Elf Fantasy Fair (not really a convention, but I'll put it here anyway) The weather was amazingly good. Lots of sunshine. I was the PA for James Clemens. A really funny guy. I haven't read his books yet, but I bought one and will read it once I have some time.I've also booked my flight to London for Expo.
Writing:
I still have to finish writing my con/vacation report from Vancouver.My what's in a name story needs an ending. I should also be writing new chapters for my Cube/Thoughtcrimes x-over and my Rodney Whump story. With all this I probably shouldn't be starting something new, but while I was tidying my appartment I found an old Harlequin book that I think would work great as McShep and I wrote some of the prologe of that today.
That's it for now. I'm at work and nearly at the end of my dinner break.
